The basics
What TREAT Does
TREAT: Play & impact REAL dogs combines simple mobile games with support for real shelter dogs. As you play, your progress helps provide treats and meals for animals in participating shelters. The app is suited to people who enjoy casual entertainment but also want their screen time to contribute to animal welfare.
How the Experience Works
The app connects in-game activity with practical support. You can choose dogs in your area, making it easier to follow the animals your activity is helping. Support is linked to physical treats and meals, including deliveries handled through Chewy. When a supported dog is adopted, the app can notify you, giving you an update on the outcome of that support.
- Play short, accessible games.
- Help provide treats and meals for shelter animals.
- Choose participating dogs based on location.
- Receive updates when a supported dog finds a home.
Who It Suits
TREAT is a good fit for casual players who prefer a clear, low-pressure activity rather than complex game systems. It may also appeal to dog lovers, shelter supporters, and anyone looking for an entertainment app with a direct charitable purpose. The experience keeps the game element approachable while showing the real animals connected to the app.
