NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy

What NordVPN does

NordVPN – fast VPN for privacy is a privacy tool for Android from Nord Security. It routes your internet connection through a VPN server to help protect your traffic and hide your usual IP address. It suits people who use public Wi-Fi, want more privacy while browsing, or need to connect through servers in other locations.

Useful tools for everyday connections

• NordLynx: A VPN protocol designed to keep connections responsive while protecting traffic.
• Threat Protection: Helps block access to known harmful websites and can add another layer against phishing and unwanted downloads.
• Auto-connect: Can secure the connection automatically when the phone joins an untrusted Wi-Fi network.
• Split tunneling: Lets selected apps use the regular connection instead of the VPN when a local connection is needed.
• Meshnet: Creates a private encrypted network between devices for remote access and connected-device use.

How it feels to use

The Android app presents server choices through a map-based interface, while its navigation keeps the main controls easy to reach. That makes it suitable for both users who want to connect quickly and those who need more control over which apps or devices use the VPN.
